TourCast Privacy Policy

TourCast ('tourcast.co.kr', hereinafter referred to as 'TourCast') complies with relevant laws and regulations, including the Personal Information Protection Act, and establishes and discloses this Privacy Policy to protect the personal information of its users.

Article 1 (Purpose of Processing Personal Information)
TourCast processes personal information for the following purposes. The personal information being processed will not be used for purposes other than the following, and if the purpose of use is changed, necessary measures such as obtaining separate consent in accordance with Article 18 of the Personal Information Protection Act will be implemented.
1. User Registration and Management (personal identification and authentication through SNS login integration, etc.)
2. Provision of 1:1 Inquiry and Consultation Services (handling grievances and delivering responses)
3. Service Improvement and Operational Management (analyzing access frequency and optimizing services)
4. Marketing and Event Information (providing information on new services and event participation opportunities - only upon optional consent)

Article 2 (Items of Personal Information to be Processed)
1. Required Items: Email address, Nickname, SNS account identification value (Unique ID)
※ TourCast utilizes external SNS login methods; therefore, it does not separately collect or store passwords.
2. Optional Items: Consent to receive marketing information
3. Information automatically generated during service use: Access IP address, device information (OS, model name, etc.), service usage records (visit time, etc.)

Article 3 (Retention and Use Period of Personal Information)
1. User Information: Retained and used until membership withdrawal.
2. In cases where preservation is required by relevant laws and regulations: Information will be stored for the period specified by laws such as the Electronic Commerce Act (5 years for records on contracts and withdrawal of subscription, 5 years for records on payment, etc.).

Article 4 (Provision of Personal Information to Third Parties)
TourCast processes users' personal information only within the scope specified in Article 1 and, in principle, does not provide it to external third parties except with the user's consent or as specifically provided by law.

Article 5 (Entrustment and Overseas Transfer of Personal Information Processing)
TourCast entrusts personal information processing tasks overseas as follows to provide stable services, and performs necessary technical and managerial protection measures to ensure that personal information is safely managed during entrustment contracts.
- Trustee: Amazon Web Services, Inc. / Google LLC (Firebase)
- Entrusted Task: Infrastructure hosting, data storage, and user authentication services
- Country of Transfer: Overseas (U.S. and other countries where the service's data centers are located) (Transfer method: Occasional transmission via network)
- Entrustment Period: Until membership withdrawal or termination of the entrustment contract

Article 6 (Procedure and Method of Destruction)
1. Destruction Procedure: Information is destroyed without delay after the purpose is achieved, or after being stored for a certain period according to internal policies and relevant laws.
2. Destruction Method: Electronic files are deleted using technical methods that render the data unrecoverable, and paper documents are shredded or incinerated.

Article 7 (Rights and Obligations of Users and How to Exercise Them)
Users may request access to, correction, deletion, or suspension of processing of their personal information at any time. Rights can be exercised by submitting a request in writing or via email to the Privacy Officer, and TourCast will take action without delay.

Article 8 (Measures to Ensure the Safety of Personal Information)
TourCast implements technical and managerial measures required by law to ensure the safety of personal information, such as access authority management, personal information encryption, installation of security programs, and prevention of forgery/alteration of access records.

Article 9 (Use of Cookies and Similar Technologies)
TourCast may use cookies, etc., to improve service quality and analyze statistics. Users can refuse the storage of cookies through device or browser settings; however, in this case, there may be difficulties in using some service functions.

Article 13 (Multilingual Provision and Interpretation)
This policy may be provided in multiple languages. In the event of any discrepancy between the translated version and the original Korean text regarding the interpretation of this policy, the Korean version shall prevail.
