TourCast Terms of Service

Chapter 1 General Provisions

Article 1 (Purpose)
These Terms are intended to define the rights, obligations, and responsibilities between TourCast (hereinafter referred to as the "Company") and users in connection with the use of the TourCast mobile application and website operated by the Company (hereinafter referred to as the "Service").

Article 2 (Definitions)
① "User" means any member or non-member who agrees to these Terms and uses the Service provided by the Company.
② "Member" means a person who registers through an SNS account or other means and enters into a service use agreement with the Company.
③ "SNS Account" means a user identification account provided through external platforms such as Google or Apple.
④ "Content" means all information, text, images, videos, and other materials provided by the Company through the Service.

Article 3 (Effectiveness and Amendment of the Terms)
① These Terms become effective when posted on the Service screen or otherwise announced by the Company.
② The Company may amend these Terms to the extent that such amendments do not violate applicable laws and regulations.
③ When amending these Terms, the Company will announce the effective date and reason for amendment at least 7 days in advance. However, if the amendment is disadvantageous to users, the Company will provide notice at least 30 days in advance and, where necessary, individually notify users through electronic means such as email.
④ If the Company clearly states in the notice that "failure to express an objection by the effective date of the amended Terms will be deemed consent" and the user does not expressly object, the user will be deemed to have agreed to the amended Terms.
⑤ If a user does not agree to the amended Terms, the Company may not apply the amended Terms to that user, and the user may terminate the service use agreement.

Article 4 (Provision of Services and Paid Services)
① The Company provides the following services:
1. Provision of travel-related information and content
2. User inquiry response and consultation services
3. Other services designated by the Company
② The Company may change or discontinue all or part of the Service for operational or technical reasons and, unless otherwise specifically provided by applicable laws, will not provide separate compensation to users for such changes or discontinuation.
③ If the Company provides paid services, fees, refund policies, and other relevant matters will be governed by separate terms of service or operating policies.
④ The Company may provide location-based services such as nearby tourist information, public transportation information, convenience facilities, place search, travel distance, and route information based on the user's current location. Details regarding the use of personal location information and location-based services are governed by the separate 「Location-Based Service Terms of Use」.
⑤ Users may choose not to consent to the use of location-based services, and in such cases may continue to use other Company services that do not require location information.

Article 5 (Membership Registration and Account Management)
① Membership registration is completed when a user logs in through an SNS account and agrees to these Terms.
② Members are responsible for managing access to their SNS accounts so that such access is not exposed to third parties, and the Company is not liable for account misuse or damages arising from the member's failure to properly manage the account.
③ The Company may refuse membership registration or terminate the service agreement afterward in any of the following cases:
1. Using another person's identity or SNS information without authorization
2. Providing false information or failing to provide information requested by the Company
3. Having previously lost membership status
④ The Company does not accept membership registrations from children under the age of 14.

Article 6 (Obligations of Members)
Members must not engage in the following activities:
1. Misappropriating another person's information or using the Service improperly
2. Infringing the Company's intellectual property rights or interfering with Service operations
3. Damaging the reputation of the Company or a third party or interfering with their business
4. Sending commercial advertising information for profit or otherwise violating applicable laws or these Terms

Article 7 (Restrictions on Service Use)
If a member violates these Terms or interferes with the normal operation of the Service, the Company may restrict use of the Service in stages, including warnings, temporary suspension, or permanent suspension.

Article 8 (Membership Withdrawal and Data Processing)
① Members may request withdrawal at any time through the Service settings or customer support, and the Company will process the request without delay.
② Upon withdrawal, all member data will be deleted except where retention is required under applicable laws or the Privacy Policy. However, posts written by the user on public boards may not be automatically deleted, so users should delete such posts themselves before withdrawal.

Article 9 (Intellectual Property Rights and User Posts)
① Intellectual property rights in content created and provided by the Company belong to the Company.
② Copyright in posts uploaded by users within the Service, including questions and reviews, belongs to the respective user.
③ Users grant the Company permission to reproduce, modify, display, and distribute their posts free of charge inside and outside the Service for the purposes of Service operation, promotion, and improvement.

Article 10 (Disclaimer)
① The Company will not be liable where it is unable to provide the Service due to force majeure events such as natural disasters, system maintenance, or communication failures.
② Unless caused by willful misconduct or gross negligence, the Company is not responsible for the reliability or accuracy of content provided through the Service and is not liable for a user's failure to obtain expected profits or for losses arising from use of the Service.

Article 11 (Consent to Receive Marketing Information)
① The Company sends commercial advertising information only where the user has provided prior consent.
② Users may withdraw their consent at any time, and users who do not consent will not be disadvantaged in using basic services such as viewing guidebooks.

Article 12 (Management of Posts)
The Company may delete or restrict access to user posts without separate notice if such posts violate applicable laws, including laws related to information and communications networks or copyright, or are contrary to public order and morals.

Article 13 (Advertising and Affiliate Services)
① The Company may include affiliate programs, such as affiliate links, in the Service for operational purposes.
② All transactions conducted on external websites accessed through affiliate links are independent agreements between the user and the relevant business operator, and the Company provides no guarantee or liability for such transactions.

Article 14 (Multilingual Versions and Interpretation)
① These Terms may be provided in multiple languages.
② In the event of any discrepancy in interpretation between a translated version and the Korean original, the Korean original shall prevail.

Article 15 (Governing Law and Jurisdiction)
① These Terms are interpreted and governed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Korea.
② Any lawsuit arising from a dispute between the Company and a user in connection with the Service shall be filed with the competent court under the Civil Procedure Act of the Republic of Korea.

Supplementary Provision
These Terms take effect on August 24, 2026.
